Micah Rowland is the Founder and Executive Director of The Rights 2 Life Foundation Inc., A Georgia public 501c3, Non‐Profit Organization specializing in support underserved communities and underrepresented Citizens since 2010.  Its purpose it to provide citizens with access to service which provides the basic necessities of life including, education, health, transportation, job readiness, housing and nourishment.  Mr. Rowland became a member of the Community Coalition Board in 2012 while supporting the MOHDAP project and Community Health Needs Assessment. In the past, Mr. Rowland has served as the Chairman of Neighborhood Planning Unit –V serving Adair Park, Capital Gateway, Mechanicsville, Pittsburgh, Peoplestown and Summerhill, served as the Chairman of the Atlanta Beltline Tax Allocation District Advisory Committee, member of the Stadium Tax Allocation District Advisory Committee and Delegate to the Atlanta Planning Advisory Board.  During Mr. Rowland’s tenure NPU‐V was able to affectively work with the Atlanta Police Department in the reduction of violent crimes, working with Eco‐Action and The initiative to remove and eliminate dumping (T.I.R.E.D.) remove more than 8000 tires from blighted areas and start a campaign on Community Gardening to provide access to safe and healthy foods across the NPU‐V neighborhoods.
