The Office of International Program Services (OIPS)

The Office of International Program Services (OIPS) provides assistance to internationals and administrators who work with internationals at Morehouse School of Medicine, and serves as an official liaison with the U.S. Departments of State, Homeland Security and Labor. OIPS works directly with departments and research institutes to facilitate bringing international faculty and researchers to Morehouse School of Medicine either through employment-based immigration or as exchange visitors participating in educational and cultural exchange. The office also works with Student Affairs to facilitate matriculation of international students in the school's degree programs. OIPS provides a number of services for internationals aimed at smoothing their initial adjustment period to the school and community and making their stay rewarding, including sending prearrival information, offering orientation sessions, providing immigration advising during their tenure, and facilitating cross-cultural programming.
