MSM Model of Service-Learning, Community Service and Civic Engagement
The Center creates innovative opportunities for students, faculty and academic affiliates
in order to address health disparities in underserved communities we serve. As a result
of our strategic planning process, we recognized the need to design a model that encompasses
our core programming and is based on the successful implementation of innovative health
promotion service projects be our students.
The MSM Model of Service-Learning, Community Service and Civic Engagement has been developed to strategically position the center as a pioneer in integrating
these three core areas within medical education and student extramural activities.
