ABRCMS 2015From Nov. 11-14, the GEBS department attended the 15th Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students in Seattle, Washington where they provided information on MSM's research graduate programs to prospective students.



Publix MSM DiabetesMSM and Publix partnered on Saturday, November 7th in recognition of Diabetes Awareness Month. MSM alumni, residents and providers joined the Publix pharmacy team at nine metro Atlanta Publix stores for a day of "Diabetes, Food & You." Participants included Drs. David Blake, Omofolarin Fasuyi, Brittnie Fowler, Christopher S. Holaway, Afolake Mobolaji, Harold Moore Jr., Michelle L. Nichols, Emmanuel OsinugaAnna Sikod and Ona Utuama

 

Calvin McCallisterCalvin McAllister, MPH, a Research Assistant at the Prevention Research Center was recently inducted into the Emerging 100 of Atlanta, the official young professional auxiliary of the 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Inc.  They are comprised of high-achieving young men, aged 25-35, committed to the academic and vocational success of the youth at B.E.S.T. Academy High School and the Collegiate 100, while serving the Atlanta community as a whole.
