Clarence Clark, M.D., joined Erica Walker March 15th on Atlanta's WAOK 1380, to discuss
colorectal cancer and prevention.
MSM on a Mission
Allison Brager, post-doc researcher, department of neurobiology, published a book
titled, "Meathead: Unraveling The Athletic Brain," that discusses why the brain of an athlete is so unique.
Tabia Henry Akintobi, Ph.D., M.P.H., will receive an inaugural Outstanding Alumni
Award from the University of South Florida College of Public Health at the institution's
spring 2015 commencement for her leadership and research in public health.
Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm, Sweden’s cardiologist and cardiac nurses
visited Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) in January, to learn more about Grady Hospital’s Heart Failure Program developed with leadership from MSM professor, Dr. Anekwe Onwuanyi, to help eliminate
heart failure readmission.

Call for Abstracts: The 2015 Dr. Daniel S. Blumenthal Annual Health Summit is April 7 and 8, 2015. The
deadline to submit poster presentation abstracts is March 23, 2015.

Applications for the Forge 2015 Health Innovation Challenge are now open. This healthcare hackathon works in collaboration with the VA Center
