 Effective September 1, 2015, the Center of Excellence for Sexual Health (CESH) will be under the leadership of Dr. Carey Roth Bayer. In this role, Dr. Bayer is responsible for leadership and the actualization of a
vision designed specifically for CESH. <<MORE>>
 Health360x: My Inspiration to Fight Diabetes: Diabetic patient shares his story and learns how to self-manage his diabetes through
e-Healthy Strides with help from his health coaches and finding inspiration to continue
the fight. <<MORE>>
 CHPM & MPH Faculty Member, Dr. Reinetta Waldrop and 2nd year MPH student Mallory Bembry submitted an abstract for the 2015 State of Public Health Conference and the submission
was selected for a Workshop Session. The title is "Partnering with Local Hospitals
in the Development of Community Health Needs Assessments: How health departments can
help close the gap between hospital based care and community based prevention services."

Dr. David Satcher to speak at MSM's 2015 Convocation & White Coat and Pinning Ceremony.
The Satcher Health Leadership Institute was awarded a 5-year $50,000/year grant to support the Health Policy Leadership Fellowship Program from the CDC National Center for HIV, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention (NCHHSTP). This will help support the fellowship program which will be welcoming its 7th cohort
of fellows on September 1st.
